Change of Scenery, Part II

Like every other holder Sakura met in those bars that are considered "neutral grounds", Ithiria wanted to tell her that not all slavers are bad, but unlike the most she listened closely to Sakura's story. And so she started to collect every bit of information about the Lazerus family she could grab a hold on.

Of course it didn't take long until she learned about that "accident" on Sakura's ship. And not much longer until she confronted Sakura with it. Sakura was sure that she would use that knowledge to only just her advantage, but the offer Ithiria made her... it was not was she expected at all. And it seemed too good to be true.

It took quite a while to think about it, and not trusting Amarrians further as she could throw them didn't help either. If she would accept that offer it would mean that there is no turning back. But the pros were so tempting. Both her family and herself would never have to fear being captured by the Lazerus family again. They could stop living in hiding, without any worries. And as a special bonus Sakura could have that slut registered has her property, taking her the last hope for freedom... Oh, the irony of it. And she would also serve as a hostage, keeping her family at bay. One wrong move and Sakura would have her execut... no, slaves aren't executed... they are put down.

And as icing of that cake the Lazerus family would risk war with House Deritan if they would try anything fishy. And all of that would just have one condition: being vassal of House Deritan. She smirked and watched through the glass table board how the Amarrian woman was kneeling in front of her, licking the heel of Sakura's shoe, wearing only a collar showing everyone that she was property of the new Khanid House Imoru, vassals of House Deritan. Sakura smiled, taking a sip from her glass of Zydrine Wine...

...how was she supposed to refuse such an offer anyway?

Change of Scenery

Sakura was sitting at a table in the dining room of a huge estate, watching out of the large window at the opposite side of the table. She gazed at the snowcovered mountains in the distance, a scenery like in a travel brochure.

How did this happen? Yesterday she was an enforcer of the RJD, and now... now she was here on Jachanu IX, deep inside Kingdom space.

Her eyes wandered over the room, examining the furniture, the paintings on the wall... when did it start? How did she end up here?

She tries to remember. It all started six months ago, as she was reading her mission reports... or to be more precise, the list of prisoners from a slavehunter-vessel brought up by the Fleet near the border...

As soon as she read that name, she knew she had to see the person behind it. This offered a chance of personal revenge she was looking for ever since her liberation. She needed to turn in a lot of favours to have the prisoner transfered into her custody, but after a few days she managed to have her on board of her ship.

She watched the Amarrian woman over the camera feed. Although her robes have been torn at several places she still paced around, arrogant like the Empress herself, demanding to be released at once. It wasn't difficult to let her disappear during an interrogation during the following days faking a malfunction of an airlock, faking her death like they have faked Sakura's, having her locked up in a sealed container, chained to one of the walls. FINALLY she could take revenge at a member of the family who tormented her for six years, destroying the lives of not only herself, but her family as well.

The pleasure Sakura felt from torturing that Amarrian bitch, turning her life into the very same kind of hell that almost every slave of her family had to endure... it was both satisfying and terrifying at the same time. She wanted to take it a step further, but she knew that wasn't possible if she wanted to keep her a secret or if she wanted to preserve everything she has built up during the last year. But she didn't reckoned on that Khanid holder... that Ithiria Deritan...

to be continued...
